Riverside Resort, Whistler

Staying at this campground had its ups and downs. While it offered a unique camping experience and was close to Whistler, I found it quite pricey, and the management could use some improvement in communication. The scenic surroundings and nearby walking trails were definitely highlights, but some amenities like Wi-Fi and showers felt lacking or inconvenient at times.

The campsite's location is excellent for visiting Whistler, just a short walk from the village. However, the cleanliness of the facilities left much to be desired, and the lack of operational amenities felt like a missed opportunity for a corporate campsite. I had hoped for more given the high prices. Overall, it's convenient but not worth the money for the state of the facilities.

My stay was pretty decent overall, with a charming cabin experience that provided a cozy alternative to pricier resorts. The location was fantastic, being so close to Whistler village. However, the cleanliness could be improved, especially in the shared facilities, which really detracted from the experience. The limited space in the cabin was also a bit of a challenge, making it awkward for adults to sleep comfortably.

Our recent camping experience was commendable, especially with the beautiful surroundings and clean facilities. We loved the access to bike trails leading to the village which made everything super convenient. However, our stay was marred by some issues with site assignments and an unpleasant encounter with the reception regarding our camping arrangements. Overall, it was a mixed experience that had its highs and lows.
